Safely Home!

Thank you all for your faithful prayers and support! For the last two days we have been discussing the statement, "The mission never ends, only the location changes." Please check out the team testimonies.

Ready to head home

Almost ready to come home

Most of the testimonies have been written and are posted on the right side of this mission blog. We're doing our final cleaning of our wonderful host facility, the New Orleans Bible Church.  More videos and pictures will be posted soon.
To all who supported this team with prayers, finances and encouragement - THANK YOU and MAY GOD BLESS YOU!

It's Hot Today!

Every day has been in the mid 90's but today's shade temperature hit 100 degrees. We are all feeling tired, and we take regular breaks. We want to finish the projects we started.

Sunday, July 5

Yesterday's Feed the Multitudes was FANTASTIC!  Lots of Divine appointments and it never rained!  We'll post pictures hopefully tonight.  Now, it's off to Sunday service at Franklin Avenue Baptist Church.  Keep praying!

Friday morning update

Hey everyone, we finally have a moment to update the blog.  Daily prayer requests are posted and pictures here and there.  Here are a few highlights so far:

MANY Divine appointments of connecting with people to share faith.
Very healthy team members!  Keep praying for safety please!
We've made considerable progress in fixing Hy & Libba's home plumbing.  It's in very poor condition.
Also, with the upcoming ministry center sale, we've been getting an old shower trailer ready to haul furniture from the ministry center to Hy and Libba's home.
Time with the kids on Eagle Street has been very productive!  It's really nice to have small numbers so we can give individual attention to these kids.
Well, gotta go to today's ministry sites!

Big Projects Day

Our team is divided into three teams today. One team is removing the split cast iron drain pipes going down the center of Hy and Libba's home. Another team is gutting an old shower trailer so we can move everything out of the ministry center. The third team is doing vacation Bible school with neighborhood kids.
It's 91 degrees and humid right now. The trailer team is challenged by lots of fire ant nests surrounding the trailer. Thanks for the extra prayers!
